Joe Tartakoff joined paidContent.org as a correspondent in March 2009.

He was previously the Microsoft beat reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and author of the P-I’s Microsoft Blog.

He grew up in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, and graduated from Harvard College, where he was an executive editor at the Crimson, in charge of the paper’s city coverage. After college, he wrote at both the P-I and the San Francisco Chronicle as a Hearst Fellow.

He blogs from his apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, where he lives with his cat, Toad, and foster dog, Zillah.
